Taking the knee

County don't take the knee,unless it's a live feed on tv,so are County being told to do something for TV, that they don't do as a rule.
Bet they'll be told to do it tomorrow, but let's see once live uk streaming after the world Cup stops.
Basically teams being told to take the knee for TV that normally they don't do.

We took the knee at Mansfield, which unless I'm mistaken was only available on an international stream, so that doesn't fit your theory.

But that theory makes no sense either; as I said earlier in this thread, why would they make County take the knee despite not broadcasting the action, when they don't make Premier League players take the knee when broadcasting the entire game?

I've already given you an example that disproves your theory and also asked you why we'd be made to do it when Premier League players aren't made to do it.

I can't remember the game for certain but I think we did against either Orient or Swindon. May not have been, but it was definitely more recently than Leicester.

Not that being a home or away game makes any difference, as I said, I've given you an example this season already but you've now moved the goalposts to just home games to suit your argument.

And even if we humour your theory for one second and we do only do it for 'TV' games, it still doesn't prove your claim that the club are being told to do it. The club themselves may make the decision to use that platform to send a message.

As I said before, it's 2 + 2 = 297 with you.

It could be either or both of those two scenarios.

What neither of those scenarios you've suggested demonstrate is the club being made to take the knee.

I seem to recollect something about it only being taken so many times this season, perhaps 5 or 6. Something I read somewhere early in the season, same by all clubs.

Maybe they will when racism is no longer prevalent.

For years people have complained that footballers are overpaid and don't do anything to help society. They do everything they've been doing over the last few years, and it's not good enough for some.

Oh and yes I always swear at the TV when the English team (or Stockport County) players do it whilst others choose not to!

Yes, and for what it's worth there were ways round that, which I'd have liked to have seen us explore.

I was at hartlepool, and they took the knee because sky was reporting live at the game so had to take the knee because of live tv

I watched sky sports last Saturday & Michael brown was commentating on county's match Live which just showed all the county's goals like they do at all teams they never show them taking the knee just the goals so really it's not utter rubbish IMHO.

ITV highlights have been on every week since August. If your theory was correct they'd have been doing it every week.

It's most likely that it's done when both clubs decide to do it.

Either way, it's three seconds at the start of a game. The very fact that people are getting so worked up about it on here is laughable.
