The neck of the other board!

Suedehead has added to a politics thread making a big noise about this board. He is embarrassed that the heading on this board belongs to County, this is a guy who tried his best to close this board down!

He also believes admin here let thigs slip since his departure. Further more his lap dog on a lead chips in with how sad he feels after he left that this board has gone the way it has.

Jeez, I've read some really shitty threads on that board, cringeworthy at times! When we weren't playing well most were calling for the managers head!

What makes me laugh is some of those who chipped in come on here often. Is Red hatter the coop board? He chipped in after coming on here begging for contributions to the statue, how two faced is that?

Why dont they keep their noses out and just run their own board?

To cap it all someone said they are pissed off that if you google County message board this comes up, well tough shit, suck it up.

I am the first to admit I do lurk there, there are a couple of decent threads on there however, the shirt knob cant help himself.

This is very much a better setup though and, as sad as it is, I would like the old place to go away. It's been mentioned to me that if you search for a County forum/messageboard on google that one still comes up first and it's really not a good look for us. At the end of the day these sorts of places are the image people get of a clubs fanbase.

Tell you what Stranded, you should stick to the other board instead of lowering youself coming on here.

For context, it was in response to:

"There's plenty of indepth discussion on here fb, we tend not to squabble though."

If people agree on a lot of things then they're likely argue less; that's not exactly exclusive to that board, it's true of life in general.

Well football is a sport for the working classes so I would expect the majority of posters on any football messageboard to be union-supporting Labour voters. That's not to say that there are no Conservative or Liberal voters but they would be in the minority.

Add in the fact that this messageboard was shut down for three weeks to "help" posters move over to the new Yellowboard. This caused a problem with some of the older posters as they liked the familiarity of this place over the new technology.

This has created two boards with differing age groups and political views. I'm not saying that everyone on the new board is a young socialist or that everyone on this board is an old Tory. But that the majority probably are.

Add in the involvement of the admins on both boards. I think rreckless has taken a more laid back approach, rarely getting involved in arguments and allowed discussions to come to a more natural end. Suedehead, however, can't help himself getting involved and has possibly sometimes caused an argument with posters that he has maybe had an issue with, or argued with in the past on either board. Then warned those posters to play by the rules (his rules) or it's bye-bye. Some have stayed and followed his rules, some no longer post. Either way this makes the new Yellowboard lean towards one person's thinking but leaves this board a lot more diverse.

All in my very humble opinion of course. 👍

Fair enough; I know you have your own opinions about the admin of the other board, but I can't say I agree with it.

I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt and allow everyone else the chance to do the same.

I also believe that intelligent people will eventually see things the same way that I do.

It's ok, I can wait.
