Brett Print Boosts the Statue Appeal.

In mid-October Des Hinks Snr kindly donated a magnificent print of Brett Angell`s fabulous winning goal against Chesterfield in 96/97 to the Supporters Cooperative in support of the Danny Bergara Statue Appeal.
At the 96-97 celebration event in the 1883 Suite a well contested auction raised a massive £1000 thanks to the determination of Brendan Ellwood to support the effort.
Brendan has been in the US but has found time to ensure the money has reached the statue funds recently.
We thank Brendan for his support ,Des for donating the print and Help the Hatters for allowing the use of their bank account !

How far off are we of the £50,000 needed?

We are circa £4000 away and with bills pending for statue base and hire of equipment and professnals to see the job to completion we will still be pressing on with fund raising.
We should be ready for the statue unvailing the last game of the season.
