Possible red card for Charlton player ?

In the first few minutes the blond haired Charlton forward went in - with studs showing - on Ben with a really nasty challenge which left Ben limping for several minutes
As it was so early in the game - it was no real surprise to see the ref show inky a yellow card
At the time I was convinced it warranted a straight red - how did others see it ??

I wanted a red and I still want a red now. It was intentional, the showboating piece of work wanted to injure Ben.

In comparison to some of our red cards recently, definitely a red!
