Was at the Halifax vs Chesterfield game and now Pete Wild has left the club. I imagine he’s set to be new gaffer.

Doubt it very much. He's mates with Pete Wild, that's probably why he was there. He's said in interviews that he's got no intention of going back into FT management, given that he's already had his dream job.

From all his tweets on his Twitter account, he seems to relish teaching the youngsters.

Is he still coaching Oldham’s youngsters?
