Beat Notts County after extra time 2-1 and will now play Wrecsam on Saturday.

Bad for Notts because like us they are the other club that should be in the Football League and also 96th minute equaliser and 119th minute winner must be hard to take.

Notts more than Wrexham with their knackered end behind the goal or anyone else need promotion.

However while I haven't said this on here or anywhere else for that matter, Grimsby are my prediction to win the play offs. Purely because they are going into them full of goals.

My father was a County fan like my grandfather before :-)

May have left it late but the best team won, hope it's the same result on saturday for Grimsby.

Our Jim used to say don't give away stupid free kicks.
In the 96th minute, Richardson pushes a player in the back, stupid boy, then 119th minute, Wootton makes a foul, another goal.
Grimsby were the better team but Notts so easily could have gone through.

Agreed AA, I thought the push in the back was actually a penalty. Who knows, the penalty may have been missed had it been given. Fine margins and all that.

I think Grimsby may have the better chance of beating the sheep though. They really impressed me last night.

Good comments from Yeti . All my previous play off predictions were all wrong ! I really did not expect Grimsby Town to beat Nottingham County , but all credit to Grimsby and I apoligize to all their fans for writing them off . I really cannot see them beating Wrexham but they have nothing to lose and all the pressure is on Wrexham .
I am going to still stick to my original forecast that Solihull will win overall as they are very hard to beat and are a well organised team .
