Have just sacked their manager after only three months in charge. What a farce.

To be fair, their approach of regularly changing manager has been quite successful for them.

If they appointed me and I lasted 2 days I would find that financially quite successful

I know they get paid a lot, but who would go to a joke club like Watford? I see Sheridan is at Oldham. Again, under that owner, who would bother?

if things are not working and never look as if they will sacking the manager is really the only option. closer to home we could have always kept rusk to keep those happy who think those at the top are trigger happy with managers.

We should have pulled the trigger earlier with Rusk. It had been evident for a while that he was out of his depth.

On hindsight yes. The warning signs were there tail end of last season during the ‘run in’ when we looked totalling devoid of ideas.

He needed to be given the close season and a chance to show what he was about. It didn’t work out. I think after the Yeovil game was probably the right time for him to go.

Agree he should have had the pre season, just thinking that we seemed very one dimensional at end of last season. For me, the point he should have definitely gone was the Halifax game, which was woeful. Might be comfortable league leaders with those few extra games, especially if we had got a result at Notts.

We are on our third manager in 6-7 years. Watford get through that many in a single season.
