Just seen a picture of the tackle from the other side of the pitch and it's a utter joke of a tackle.
It's a red all day long and I hope County show it to the league, his ankle is bent backwards and wouldn't be surprised if he's not broken it, it's horrendous and totally sums up what we was against today

See non of the Gannon fan club brigade have replied yet, County wouldn't of lost today if he'd of been in charge, rusk was totally at fault today. We could of had Messi and Ronaldo up front today we still wouldn't of won with that gimp in charge

I’m at loss as to understand why supporting Gannon, or otherwise, influences the opinion towards what looks (by photographic evidence) to have been a dreadful assault on a County player. Do enlighten me.

It doesn't. The ref was generally dreadful throughout and I'd like to see their penalty again as well which was never replayed on the stream.

Personally I'm struggling to see how the new regime are improving things though. One goal in five games, poor discipline (it's a two way thing and not just the officials). Questions really need to be asked of the people who sacked Jim whilst doing a good job in my view, if this poor run of form continues much longer.

We'll see how we do against stronger opposition. Tuesday against Notts County will be a good benchmark as we played them twice towards the end of Jim's reign.

Terrible challenge and a dreadful ref.

Similar points gained since Rusk took over as Gannon gained in his last seven games.
He has not had time to get to know the players he inherited.

Reading the hysteria on here and the other winge board anyone would think we had been hammered every game.

We were not playing well before Rusk took over. How dire were Notts County and Hartlepool away games.

How many people on here have been given a opportunity to improve themselves at the expense of someone else and turned it down, because they think the person before them was better

I don't think anybody really blames him for taking it mate. I didn't like the call and if we don't win the league this year it will appear that it was probably the wrong choice at the time.

Rusk's brought in good players so far but this is a new challenge all together for him as a manager - we need a steady proven manager at the minute to hold this team together. I'm all for upgrading if its available but this was a change that wasn't needed and has potentially cost us promotion this season.

I think it's obviously way too early to tell whether Rusk in himself will be a success, I'll give him my backing 100% but it is starting to feel like Mr Wilson has pulled the rug from under our feet a bit especially after all the promotion talk making it sound as though we were aiming for top spot.

For this season, it's looking more like we had a better chance of promotion keeping Gannon in charge. If the idea had been to rebuild so wed have a better chance next year or the year after then yeah maybe it would have been better getting a new young manager in with to get some experience at this level.

I expected Jim's days to be numbered once the takeover went through. The days of a close working relationship between the Manager and Owners was a thing of the past.

A corporate structure with everyone a cog in the machine might be appealing to some people but not everyone. It reduces the role of the Manager who becomes answerable to the Director of Football who in turn has the final say in who we sign.

Jim was let down by quite a few of his signings who have yet to get started and look to be going through the motions. They have shown the same lack of effort and commitment for the new man as well. We have yet to see a complete 90 minute performance this season.

If we are to get promotion we need to see much much better because if we go up we want to stay up.

Agree with that. Jim Gannon was never going to be able to manage the Club in the same way once the new owner put a different structure in place. That really answers the question about what "cultural differences" means I think. He did receive initial backing and I think he had a hand in quite a few of our new signings coz they are ex-players of his. You are quite right about a number of these players underperforming for both managers. They are on decent money and longish contracts so there is going to be a problem with that moving forward if changes in personnel are required. It's certainly not been a good start for the new manager but things can change quickly with a few good results. Fingers crossed it does.

Look at Jim's last 7 games. If we beat Notts, SR will have a better record than him over his first 7.

Weve just got a new young Manager in. Mr Stott is not intending to wait 2 years to get out of this lge. His aim is Championship in 6 years.
