No mention of Mark McGhee being assistant manager as according to press reports he is lined up for the job.
If so would seem a strange mix to me.

An interesting read. As is the post below from the BBC Football site, talking about the sacking of Frank Lampard.

"So sad. Wish him luck. Just like another manager recently wrongly sacked, Jim Gannon at Stockport County. Both are club legends and get the culture at their respective club. Both were doing a good job.
It's a shame that chairmen have no idea what 'the culture' of their club is. But what do chairmen, who are businessmen with no idea about managing a team of footballers, know about football?"

Could be viewed as harsh sackings, but would argue RA has achieved a lot of success in terms of titles and trophies with Chelsea.

RA's had success at chelski, agreed, but his only culture is the culture of throwing money at a problem and expecting a quick return on that money.
