Whoever it is is on a hiding to nothing. The fans will demand promotion and nothing less ASAP after this. Jim had credit in the bank and would have kept the bulk of our fans onside if we were there or thereabouts. Now the fans will demand nothing short of promotion. Talk of bringing in a youth coach called Rusk from Brighton in on the other board. If he lost a couple of games, can you imagine the meltdown from fans after this. Tbh that appointment would just smack of Wilson having a mate / contact waiting in the background for this chance to come up.

Just re-read the interview Simon Wilson did for Sky Sports before the West Ham game "we could have replaced them when we came in but these guys know what they are doing" is the exact quote. How quickly things change. It's my guess player power has reared its ugly head.

Genuinely shocked.
Danny Begara going was massive at the time but this is just as bad if not worse.
Conspiracy theories already surfacing....I’d rather wait and see before slagging anybody off.
