Club statement - ticket allocations

A bit confusing coz it says season ticket holders will be allocated tickets within their League allowance. And then goes on to talk about purchasing tickets.

Don’t recall being asked whether or not we wanted the option to have ST cards delivered or collected ...

Delivered would be best in any case in this day and age IMO .

I think people were given options of collection or delivery at the time season tickets were first issued/paid for. I am pretty sure I opted for delivery. But at Christmas deliveries could be subject to delays.

There’s an audio message by JK on STs on the 30th of August ...

He’s talking about buying your STs where he says you can BUY your ticket at the ticket office but you must pay by card not cash .

The letter from the club ( undated ) from Jonathan Vaughan, Chief Executive, outlines the ST prices and details of your seat
saying (quote) “ You can renew your ticket online or by calling 0161 286 8888 “

There’s no mention as to distribution of the tickets in either of the items mentioned ....

I have just gone back over the correspondence and billing in September. I paid an additional £2 on the cost of my tickets to have them posted to me. So clearly there was an option given - either around postage or collect in person.
This is a quote from the relevant email - "You will receive your season ticket pack week commencing 28th September. If you chose the collection option, we will be in touch in due course with available collection times".

I couldnt remember so checked the email but breakdown of my bill was as follows

2xadult season tickets £268.50 =£537 in total

then it had underneath postage as £2

But total of my invoice was still only £537 instead of £539 so ive no idea if be delivered or not lol

My £2 was added to the price of the tickets I ordered. If the £2 was not added to your final total then I guess you can't be sure you are going to get a delivery. Maybe you need to check via a phone call to the Club.

The £2 postage at the bottom of the invoice IS there so checking your receipts will tell you if your ST’s are coming your way

If as expected its tier 2 then the Club are going to have to make a quick decision about the FA Trophy game on the 19th. Are they going to open it up to fans to attend? Will tickets need to be bought beforehand? Is there going to be a stream of the game - will it be free or charged for? Plenty of uncertainties.

Makes sense to stream on the current terms until the pandemic is over. Lots of non season ticket holders and away fans will want to pay plus any ST holders not attending on health grounds etc.
