Looking in the loft yesterday for some stuff to help write some more and came across this. It's my belief that without Eric Webster's efforts in the early 1980's it is quite possible that there would be no County today. |
Most people know that he had virtually every role at EP, but 'finding' Micky Quinn; Dean Emerson; and Tony Hancock brought life saving cash into the Club. In a piece I wrote about 1982 I mentioned his contribution.
