Firstly, it's not HTH job to fund the playing budget. They've probably saved the Club over £100,000+ by cleaning, painting, renovating the stadium and various training facilities over the years. Savings which will have allowed the Club to increase the playing budget. They've also given the Club thousands, to purchase items like the Game Play unit to aid the recovery of injured players, they've also given thousands in sponsorship over the years and they've donated to the Community Ticket initiative. |
Secondly, HTH have put around £35,000 into the playing budget, in return for Chris Bramall providing the Co-op with circa 17,500 shares in the Club. Chris / the Club ended that deal, so it isn't reasonable to expect HTH to continue the Players Fund for zero return.
To say you aren't going to support HTH because they've chosen to purchase a frog, with their own money, which they've raised, is pretty poor IMHO.
