I agree that Wootton was getting nothing in the air yesterday, but if we're doing going to play it along the floor with pace, you've got to start from the back and they pressed us high yesterday, so we were constantly under pressure and having to go backwards and play it around the back to try and build into an attack. We've seen both styles work well this season so we can do it, but I think going long was the best of the bad choices yesterday because the defence looked terrible and really disjointed on the ball. |
