Re: Norwood Welcome video Archived Message Posted by mreckless on August 25, 2024, 8:51:17, in reply to "Re: Norwood Welcome video" As I recall it he had been “suspended” by United not by the FA for one of his off the field indiscretions, they usually involved meetings with somebody called Mr Smirnoff with meetings taking place in the Sawyers Arms on Deansgate. United banned him from playing for them but said they are keeping his registration, talks between the 2 chairmen led to Besty being allowed to come and play for us, basically to keep fit and also do us a favour for attendances.
