I was pretty confident before the tournament that he'd leave at the end, regardless of result and I don't think the criticism that's come his way has had any impact on his decision. He deserves every bit of credit for putting the England team back in a position where we're serious contenders for tournaments rather than being the laughing stock of them. He goes out as the best England manager there's been, bar one.
