Re: No more ball boys Archived Message Posted by tH on July 13, 2024, 13:00:18, in reply to "No more ball boys" Anyone wanting to read the thread, basically a job that used to be done almost exclusively by boys is now increasingly inclusive, to the point it's a bit unfair for a growing number of young girls to be labelled boys, so they're evolving the language used, just to be nice, respectful and accurate. No real agenda beyond that. But some old men in this thread have a problem with that and would prefer young girls be referred to as boys. Thankfully the majority don't have the type of insecurity and fear of natural change that leads to such a conclusion, and therefore most embrace a very simple evolution in language.
