    We are all disappointed obviously from our home loss to Crewe Alex .
    I always try to take a positive view where possible and as I have commented previously we can’ t win ALL the time ! On the rare occasions I travel on board the supporters coach to matches I continually argue that supporting County is all about the “ Ups and Downs “ , good and not so good . Some fans think winning games , scoring lots of goals will never end . Ok , we have a fair shout for promotion into League One , we could have a few good seasons there , then have a slump and get relegated again . Throughout County’ s history since 1883 , that’s what supporting the club is like , all the highs and lows .
    So far this season we have done fantastically well , but every team has an ‘ off night ‘ from time to time . We had one last night against Crewe and DC also had an off night with mistakes with team selections and substitutions .
    But it’s because of Dave Challinor we are where we are with his management , coaching , organising the squad , training , his signings and media friendly attitude keeping us fans informed as to what’s going on .
    The team have shown quality , scoring lots of goals but seem to come unstuck occasionally against physical teams like Crewe , who kept closing us down , preventing us from playing our football , and as Hedgie has commented , they thoroughly deserved to win .But the positive point is having suffered a shocking defeat it’s how you now react in the next game and we will see what a good manager DC is by lifting the players for the Tranmere match , where I see no reason why we can’t get a result there .
    We can all pretend to be team managers after the event . Yes , Byrne and Horsfall are a great pairing in my view , not Tourey who looked well out of place . Camps should have started , Paddy should have been up front with Tanto . Why was Bristow taken off , I thought he played ok in the first half , Tourey is not good enough . Lemonhead Evans should
    have played a full game . Far too many substitutions that made no difference .
    A torrid night then , but we will bounce back am sure !
