    Seems a promising youngster and as Newcastle have blocked a loan move for Joe White, as they want him involved in the first team. Apparently they are light on bodies in midfield and it's a really good opportunity for him to stay and show he's at the level. So Breckin might be a useful addition. He was at Wycombe but didn’t play enough games so City recalled him.

    With all our injured players returning in the next five weeks our squad is very strong and not requiring of future strengthening but from Thursday we cannot add, so anyone coming in this week is a no brainer as we need to cover all eventualities in case our injury blight continues and at the same time as looking for additions that will be useful for our time in league one, hopefully beginning next season.

    Manchester City said they would make a decision today on Breckin’s immediate future, so expect an announcement tomorrow!
