Sorry to go all 'Rustybar' on you, but Glossop North End left the Football League in 1915 and Bahamas wasn't built until 1935, so Dosser couldn't possibly have travelled behind Bahamas to Glossop for football.
He probably would have got the local LNWR service from Edgeley to Manchester London Road (now Piccadilly) behind a Webb 2-4-2T or a rebuilt Webb LT 4-4-2T. Then change to the Great Central side at London Road and hauled behind a J11 0-6-0 or C13 4-4-2T to Glossop. Alternatively, Dosser may have got the LNWR service to Guide Bridge via Denton and changed there for the GCR to Glossop.
