Archived Message Posted by ROYNICOL1 on 14/10/2023, 20:54:39 Whether we like it or not ALL teams including County have their “ Bogey “ teams and next up are Grimsby who are definitely in this category as our record against them is dire of recent times ! In days gone by , teams ,like Newport. Bournemouth , Brentford , Aldershot , Southport all had a hoodoo over us and we just couldn’t get results against these teams for many years . I used to hate going to Haig Avenue Southport knowing defeat could not be avoided !! Grimsby are underachieving so far this season , we’re seen off today by Accrington but will be desperate to make amends next Saturday and be backed by a huge following . However County are flying , Saresvic can be added to Tanto and Barry to the unstoppable list of players , goals are going in and confidence is sky high with the players and us fans . I see no reason why our good run cannot continue but am not going to give any predictions at this stage !
