    Who would have thought the top three favourites for automatic promotion all lost ! Wrexham ( to easily finish top ) thrashed , Nottingham hammered and ourselves , perhaps a bit unlucky to lose . We were the best of the three then !!! Oh , I was also going to predict that Crawley and Harrogate would both go down and they both won , so what do I know ! Anyway , here are the points per player for a bit if fun .

    Hinchcliffe 6 Great stop in 2nd half no chance with goal
    Knowle 6 Good shift in , good tackling , worked hard
    Touray 7 Confident on ball , linked up well
    Horsfall 6 Steady enough , good headers
    Barry 8 Superb game , plenty of pace ,MOM
    Camps 7 Workmanlike , especially first half
    Sarsevic 7 Put a good shift in , involved a lot
    Mac/Hales 5 Loads of effort but no quality crosses
    Rydel 5 Drifts out of games too much
    Tanto 4 Not much end product , too lightweight
    Powell 4 Kept falling down, should be forward more
    Others
    Madden 6 Should have started
    Evans 4 Only briefly involved
    Wright 6 Made couple of good runs
    Richardson 4 Caught in possession too much , poor

    Overall team performance … 6.5 out of ten

    Gillingham were a typical away team , were under seige during second half but football is about goals and they stole it late on . I think we will play worse than today and win games . On another day we could easily have edged it but this game has gone we are all sick and disappointed but we have to move on !
