    I though Ibou Touray showed what a good signing he is. As did Louie Barry in flashes particuarly in the second half until he had to go off.

    Nick Powell had flashes of vision and has lots of potential.

    That's about it on the good parts.

    So to pack the post out.


    Southam Hales isn't big enough or strong enough and can't defend. Not sure that having Rydel and Barry in similar positions and roles worked, particularly in the first half where their full back knew exactly what the tactics were and snubbed them out.

    Powell, isn't a target man. Neither is Oloafe. Not sure why when they had a couple of big strong powerful defenders we persisted in hoofing it up to them. That's when we weren't playing head tennis in midfield.

    One last thing, our crossing. It was abysmal. Why when they have a huge man mountain in goal did we cross the ball anywhere near the six yard box? Crazy.

    Gillingham were big, defended well and were well organised. On the balance of play we deserved a draw.

    If we are to persist with a hoof up to a striker then we need to sign somebody on loan to play that role PDQ.
