On Saturday, I am taking part in the Peak District Mighty Hike for Macmillan to help people living with cancer. This is a 26 mile hike from Bakewell, in the Derbyshire hills, with an elevation of 2,440ft. The forecast isn't great either, so looks like it will be a very muddy walk! Macmillan is a fantastic charity that has provides emotional, practical and financial support to people battling cancer. They have helped a couple of my friends who have successfully beaten cancer and they've said the support has been invaluable.
