He was always well spoken of as a nice guy. He was a caretaker manager for us in 2004 and went on to manage our affiliate club in China - Stockport Tiger Star. His record of games played was outstanding. He played a total of 743 top flight games for Chelsea, QPR and Arsenal. Don't ever remember seeing him as a player at Edgeley Park however.
