Eighth Stockport Hatters Half Marathon In Our Sights- Marshals Wanted ! The Supporters Cooperative plans for the eighth Stockport Hatters Half Marathon on Sunday 3rd September are in place, our Premier Corporate Partner Stockport company Colourtone Ltd secured, along with use of facilities on the EP concourse facilities kindly allowed by the Club, and runners are signing up to run the race in numbers.  What we also need however is to put our team of Race Marshals together ( an essential ingredient of a successful race)so, if you would like to help out and be part of our well respected team of marshals on 3 September please email johngiles20@hotmail.com. The race will finish 12.30pm at the latest and depending on the section of the course. volunteers would typically be asked to meet around 8.30am on the day, although this may vary slightly, but if you have a preference as to which part of the course you would prefer to cover on the day, please tell us in your email. We can offer a free place in next year's race or a free County ticket and lots of friendly company on the day. Hannah`s Sketch Raises £250 Towards Statue Costs. We can confirm that the final Make Us An Offer auction in support of the Danny Bergara Statue Appeal was won by County supporter / Carpet Fitter Jason Hughes whose offer of £250 prevailed for what is a magnificent piece of County history. Congratulations go to Jason along with our thanks to him and everyone who took time out to support this effort – thank you all! And this is what this fantastic support makes happen, this image confirms that the final piece in the statue matrix is being put in place now. The image shows work starting on the installation of the statues lighting system……..  What Next Then ? Having just indicated that was the last Make Us An Offer we can advise as to how we are looking to cover the final £1700- £2000 of the statue costs and we are excited to announce that the 2023/24 Supporters Cooperative Fixture Calendar is at an advanced planning stage.
