    I remember singing it for the first time in the Bobby before a home game during the 96/97 season and the person I was singing it with was Des Hinks, he was checking I'd got the words right. That was some time before the Chesterfield promotion game and it included the line about Chesterfield and Crewe so I would dispute the idea that line got added because of the promotion game. It didn't, it was already there - I've never known any other version.

    The only thing that has changed about the chorus since then is I wore it proudly round my neck to I wore the scarf around my neck....
