The Final Push Starts ! Yes, we are almost there. After a colossal effort by the County Family, we can say with certainty that the marvellous statue of Danny Bergara fashioned so brilliantly by sculptor Hannah Stewart will be unveiled at Edgeley Park on May 8 when County take on Hartlepool United. We just have to raise the final £4500 to cover essential costs including the installation of a weatherproof lighting system for the statue, and the final push has been started with a couple of projects which we hope you will give your support to. Programme & Memorabilia Fair- 30 April 2023 Next up, we are delighted that our statue appeal partners Help the Hatters , through stalwart County fan Edd Powell, are running another of their highly successful `Programme & Memorabilia Fairs on 30 April ( 10 am till 1.30pm) in the 1883 Suite. All proceeds from this excellent event will be donated to the Danny Bergara Statue Appeal. The Cooperative is taking a stall on the 30th so if you have any County shirts be they either replica or match worn we could sell there please drop them off at the Grassy Knoll next to the Cheadle End turnstiles on match days between 1.15 and 2.15 Saturdays or 6.15 to 7.15 for Tuesday games or contact hedgegrower@gmail.com to arrange pick up or delivery.
