    Free tickets definitely work.

Brendan Elwood talks about the ticket schemes in the 90's, which grew our fan base and now these fans are parents and are bringing their own kids.

It's worth bearing in mind though that this isn't the only period the Club has run ticket schemes. Steve Bellis brought back the schools scheme when he returned to the Club circa 2014. The Club actively started visiting schools again and distributed tickets.

When the Club had turned the corner under Jim Gannon, the Co-op & Club introduced Community Tickets for junior football clubs and community clubs, alongside the existing schools scheme.

Nearly 7,000 youngsters and the families attended on the Community Ticket scheme alone between 2018 and 2023.

In the season County won promotion from the National League North, around 1,000 tickets per game were regularly being distributed between the two schemes. County set a number of attendance records for the League along the way.

I think these recent initiatives between 2014 - 2023 have played a big part in the upsurge in County's attendances, alongside the investment by Mark Stott and the success and excitement this has generated.

We've seen a second generation of fans being attracted to Edgeley Park. There are many new adults attending, because their kids are now County fans!
