Just thinking a bit about our wonderful manager and the time he has had recently. Of course as an old school football boss he probably doesn't want sympathy. But the family bereavement clearly hit him and his family hard which will have made all the usual stresses and strains of Christmas much more acute...he, his staff and most of the squad have been wiped out to varying degrees by the virus sweeping the camp which has made managing a busy schedule even tougher. Then there has been a couple of unwanted results in difficult circumstances. Dave looked as knackered as he was pissed off in his Walsall interview and, although I am sure they are, I hope someone at County is helping him through a very tough period.
