Dave Challinor seems to prefer more rugged, mobile, pressing players in midfield. Newby , and to some extent Crankshaw , are lighter-weight, more creative, ball carriers. In this division maybe that's what needed for success but perhaps less so as we hopefully move up leagues. I liked Newby and think he will do ok. We will see. Good luck to him.
