………………… and we hope it brings with it good things aplenty for you and your family!
The year that is about to become just another memory, saw the Supporters Co-operative working very hard on behalf of our members and County supporters .
A quick glance at what we were about in 2022:-
    Danny Bergara Statue
Following our decision to erect a life sized bronze statue outside EP in honour of County hero Danny Bergara, we have not been idle and in just over a year, with magnificent help from County supporters, and a very welcome donation from Club owner Mark Stott we are poised now to see this statue in position on the car park outside the Cheadle End.
Along with the Bergara Family we have liaised with our sculptor Hannah Stewart ensuring the project is running to schedule and that the statue is in place on May 6 the date of County`s last league game of the season.
Honouring our commitment to our members we have invited them to help review the design in January along with the Help the Hatters Active Work Group, as part of a consultation exercise, before the statue is cast in wax and the bronze pour.
Meanwhile , fund raising will continue into 2023 to cover installation and erection costs. With you continued support we WILL get this fitting tribute to a great man done!

    Building for the Future
This year the Co-op have sponsored the match day flag bearer scheme, which is run by Stockport County Community Trust. This scheme allows a squad of 16 players from a junior football club to welcome the team onto the pitch. The squad and management team also receive complementary tickets for the Together Stand, so they can cheer on the team. This scheme is in place for every league and cup game and over 400 youngers a season will enjoy this fantastic experience.
    The Wellspring
We were delighted when the club gave us permission to organise a bucket collection prior to the Leyton Orient game in November, and even more pleased when with your support we raised £1,036 for the Wellspring and received many donations to support their Ruck Sack appeal.
This is the fifth year that The Wellspring have been our charity partner and we are very pleased to continue our close ties with this magnificent charity that provides such invaluable support for homeless people in Stockport in the coming year.

Giving County Supporters a Voice Where it Matters.
We have continued to meet with the Club throughout the year, providing County fans with the opportunity to raise questions or concerns with them , ensuring thereafter that a full report of the meeting is published to the supporter base.
It`s a vital facility in our view and one we are most happy to continue providing.
We have also jointly worked with the Club on hosting fans forum.
    Hatters Half Marathon.
On Sunday September 4 the Supporters Cooperative, for the seventh year successfully promoted and organised this rather special road/ trail event attracting hundreds of athletes of all abilities to the start line at 9.30 am, creating massive goodwill and publicity for the Club, Town and ourselves.
The event raised a substantial sum in support of the Danny Bergara Statue Appeal and will again take place in 2023.
Details of the Hatters Half Marathon can be reached here:-
