Look at the statue Just Giving account today and you will see that the first £500 of your October donations ( between £5 and £20) have been matched by an exactly similar donation from our anonymous supporter who sent us this message………. “I wanted my donation to the statue appeal fund to work a bit harder and thanks to the great body of County fans the idea to try and match up lots of smaller donations certainly appears to have worked as we get nearer and nearer to fully funding what I guess will probably be the first statue to a man from Uruguay erected in this country, Thanks to all of you who have been inspired to donate by the matching up idea, I am sure we will reach that “2,000 total between us by the end of the month”.
