Brown is targeted by other clubs who see him as a weak link. He tried to get forward yesterday but there was a lack of quality in his crosses and overall play. Hussey looked like a fish out of water when he went over the half way line. That left Sarcevic to drift over to the left from time to time, but in the majority of cases when the centre backs were looking for wide options there weren’t any. Wootton drifted out to the right occasionally too. Exactly where you don’t want a CF to be. It summed up his game when he was late arriving at the far post in the second half when Oli crossed from the right and the ball ran away harmlessly. For a striker his sense of positioning is awful. Right place, right time bags you loads of goals.
