The only exception should be is if a player has shown petulence on the field towards his team mates, the crowd or the manager. Bad attitude needs addressing and the fans need to be told what action is to be taken. If anyone just simply has a bad game or makes a ricket conceding a goal, then they should never be critiicised directly in interviews. Nobody deliberately makes a mistake. Call out the opposition for time-wasting, consistent foul play etc, or the match officials for bizarre decisions, but never your own squad. |
