I am sure Minihan, Keane, Whitfield and Quigley would have served out their contracts had it not been for the allowance. What they didn’t bargain for, was losing out to the two strikers they had planned to bring in. Personally I would give Eliott Newby a chance up front in a BCD friendly, a role his twin brother has played successfully.
