    Pre season friendlies affected us ? Archived Message

    A lot of new signings this season and new signings need time to bed in especially with the number of changes we have made.

    We started the season on the back of being undefeated in pre season friendlies

    But has the ‘lower ‘ quality of friendlies (all below us league wise) resulted in the new signings not being properly tested as individuals and as a group. Consequently our much harder first five league matches are identifying areas that are lacking or which need improvement/cohesion/fluidity.

    We will get it right but I am believing that the quality of the friendlies should have culminated in a sterner test with opposition at same or higher level to prepare us better as the season commenced

    One for DC t think about next year
