    Having slept on it, my summary is

    Goalkeeper - had a mare and might be bench warming next week-end

    Defence - looked like they met ten minutes before kick-off. The only highlights were the dominance of Horsfall in the air and the debut of Brown. We need a left footed version of Brown for the left wing back position. Time to offload Kitching.

    Midfield - looked totally disorganised. Only looked a threat in the last twenty minutes when Crankshaw and Hippolite added a bit of pace.

    Forwards - Anonymous. But didn't get a great deal of service, particularly in the first half.

    To be fair a few heads dropped when their third goal went in. It was certainly as poor a start to the season that you could ever imagine


    Officials - the ref was poor and missed a lot of fouls, hand balls and blatant time wasting. The liner in front of the main stand was useless. His ability to miss the obvious was remarkable. As was his decision from a ball crossed from the right wing that is first handled by the defender before it's put over the line. How can that be offside?
