    When they say there must be a home-developed player in either the 22-man list or the matchday squad i'm not sure they're referring to a player under-21, but of course I could be wrong.

    If Paul Turnbull were still here he would qualify as a home-developed player and is over 21 so he would be on the 22-man list and that would solve the problem.

    Cody Johnson is 17 and therefore can't be registered on the 22-man list and therefore would have to be included in the 18-man match squad in order for us to have 7 subs. So we could either name 6 subs + CJ or just name 6 subs without CJ.

    That's my reading anyway, but I could be wrong!
