The second half is around footballing matters. Congratulations to both DC and SW were offered who are taking the questions.

SW (Simon Wilson) very happy with the squad and looking to grow the squad as a unit as we go through the leagues as a number are or about to hit peak form going off their age attributes.

James Jennings appointment as a liaison officer for player welfare will support Ryan Jones (who will deal with the academy players) to support full-time players over 16. It’s a position that was looking to be created as part of the new academy accreditation.

Different cups from Cheshire Senior to FA Cup via Papa John’s will offer different opportunities to generate revenue or give players an opportunity. Regardless of who we play we want to win every game.

Why the change in central defence? It’s not easy moving forward but as a management team they need to make us better so we can move on and be more effective. They are the toughest decisions to make especially players can and do give so much

140 years of Stockport County next year - are there any plans around any specially pre-season tours to commemorate this next pre-season? No plans at the moment (but they haven’t really discussed it in detail yet as only just been made aware) but would be good to do.

What’s the current relationship between Stockport County and Stockport Town (ST). ST will allow a pathway of more players to continue to play the game who maybe drop out of professional football or late bloomers to come in and develop before moving up.

Will every player still get a chance this season? It’s more difficult as we’re restricted to number of players in a squad in the EFL. We have 24 seniors in a squad of 26 and can only name a squad of 22.

A question about covid vaccination status. We don’t have a 100% uptake, it is someone the club recommend.

Paddy will be captain for the new season. Options for vice is still open as we do have some great leaders including players who have captained other clubs.

Is there a game DC is particularly looking forward to? Tranmere will be a special moment - playing on a Friday at his old team as he remembers how good having the rest of the weekend was!

Thats the all folks. Will leave you with a photo of our new signage on display for the new season. I suggest if you haven’t already please head over to @_SByrne for more comprehensive coverage! Cheers, thank you! https://t.co/jNbuohNIrb
