    Overview of tonight’s game Archived Message

    Just home and want to share the view of a Chorley fan on tonight’s game
    I went with my grandson and we met up with one of his Blackburn ice hockey teammates who is a Chorley fan
    He was highly impressed with the county performance and he was staggered at how big the gap now is between the two teams. County were faster, more skilful on the ball, better organised and in the second half lethal in front of goal -
    He expected / hoped that based on Chorleys recent 3-0 hammering of Salford, they would give County a challenging game, but they were never able to match us
    I of course agreed with all that but I didn’t have the heart to tell him we were short our leading goalscorer - missing two of our regular three regular midfielders and none of our 6 new outfield players were involved
