There was a station there already many many years ago. Shut around 1917. Dosser will remember it, jotting down numbers of old LNWR locomotives from the end of the station platform. Good when it happens, as long as it has a decent service. Could do with reopening stations at Northenden and Baguley too. Criminally underused line. |
