The midfield three of Sarcevic, Collar, Croasdale is the heart beat of this team. Without them we’ve not played our pressing game which has bought so much success. Throwing in Jennings and Newby was bizarre. How Jordan Keane doesn’t get a look in is beyond me. We would have been better going 4-4-2 yesterday and bring in Ben Whitfield on the bench. Minihan is a good right full back but he lacks the quality going forward to be a wing back. Newby is too lightweight and can’t put a tackle in. No good for our style of being a pressing midfield. Similar reason as to why Rooney didn’t fit. We have had a fair bit of bad luck with injuries and dodgy refs but Chally had the squad to overcome that. The last two defeats are worrying. Chally will prove how good a manager he is over the next two weeks. Keep the faith.
