Not sure why it's always got to be a comparison between A and B. Both things can be true and you can make a more rounded point regardless of gender.
The overall point being that it serves no purpose for the highly skilled teams to play the low skilled teams in qualifying. It just so happens that the skill gap is bigger in women's football at present.
It doesn't make it any better in men's football because it happens more in women's. It's still a problem either way.
