As I pointed out further down it was up to 3rd in the latest released statistics. If you want to choose older months, why not pick January? You’ll find it was the biggest cause of death that month.
Whilst I understand that people die of strokes, etc., as well as Covid, what you have to take into consideration is that Covid is highly infectious and can kill people who may be ill but would otherwise survive. There are over 150,000 people who have Covid on their death certificate as either the cause of or a contributory factor to their death.
Lockdowns, masks, etc., are not done for fun - you only have to look at the behaviour of the PM to know the government don’t take it that seriously - they are done to allow the NHS to treat those that don’t have Covid without the risk of them getting it and becoming even more poorly and possibly dying.
