    Mmm .. we can all drop that comforting phrase “we’re better away than at home” after Saturday’s game of half hearted players in our ranks ..

    I didn’t go but the ones that did, and the JK commentary I listened to, made it plain to tell us it was a poor performance most of the game playing a team (of part timers) we should have hammered on paper but we didn’t!

    50% of the team are still under performing , either through lack of confidence or doubt as to what the plan “A” starting tactic from the manager is meant them to do personally, to blend the team together coherently…

    The team manager himself has to carry the can whether they play well or not , but I’m coming to the conclusion that he’s either just hoping for the best by signing new extra good players coming in (wishful thinking) or he himself is struggling to “lead the line” when battle commences as he should do .

    All in all I have to say things are not as good as they should be on the pitch side of things ( key players injured happens to all clubs - they all have to make provision for that eventuality ) … so, the D of F and all Team Management personnel should be put on probation straight away to the end of the season by the new Chairman, who will appraise each and everyone of them , taking his conclusions to Mark Stott for decision making .

    I haven’t had much luck trying to get the “ clean sheet imperative “ tactic scrapped in favour of attacking football so I have no doubt that anyone reading this post will completely rubbish this idea in its entirety.. but, if nothing is done rapidly to shake complacency to win more games, I fear the odds to gain promotion are about evens to see an elephants nest up a rhubarb tree at EP rather than the National League Title Trophy at the end of the season …

    That knocks my signature message for 6 as well ..
