My daughter and I were in the staff common room when the deputy head walked in. She asked my daughter a few things about her summer holiday, and I mentioned that her highlight would be coming to EP on Saturday. "Oh, who's playing?" asked the DH "Stockport County" I replied. "Oh that famous international team" she said (She's actually a very nice lady, but there was more than a hint of irony in her voice). DH then turned to my daughter, "so who would you actually prefer to watch?" My daughter just shrugged and said, "County". That's my girl!!!
