I thought the ground looked fantastic. They won 2-0 in front of a crowd of over 9000. I remember them getting less than us back in the 90’s. When they were at the Don Valley they were getting crowds of 2000. The new ground was the turning point in their fortunes he said. It helped them attract better players and attendances increased. A spruced up Edgeley Park with perhaps a new stand or two could do the same for us. Thank goodness we have Mark Stott. I can’t wait for away days at the likes of Rotherham in the football league. If they can get 9000+ in league 1 then so can we .
