I'm not going to blame anybody but I can recognize facts. Those facts are that we failed to regain our FL status, with all the advantages we had. After all the money our owner has pumped into the club, we should have gone up as champions. To not even make the playoff final is a failure. The unbeaten run is flat ale. Fact is that we did not win a number of games during that run which if we had won we could have been champions. This team sadly does not rise to the big games. Is it the players? Possibly. Is it the manager? Possibly. It's not the owner or the previous manager, that much is plain. I'm not campaigning to bring Jim back by the way. It is Mr. Stott's money and his decision to hire whoever he wants, in any capacity. All I know is that this season's Stockport County stumbled too many times when it was most important to do the business. Not expecting them to never drop a bollock, but winners don't do it too often and the bare truth is that we did, even during the run. I'm sure some will disagree, and we have some childish people on the board who, school playground-like, have to get personal, to which I give the traditional Churchillian two-fingered response. Goodnight all, I have a bottle of single malt scotch with my name on. "We walked from Sandbach"
