Agree with your point 3 Mustafa, we were in Thailand in January last year when news of Covid broke out. At the outset supermarkets were disinfecting trolleys and had staff making sure hand sanitisers were used on entry. Into February temperature testing at airports, then complete lockdown in March, all pubs, bars, restaurants closed, 22.00 hours curfew, all booze removed from shop shelves, etc. Thailand have similar population to UK - about 70 million - came out of it in June last year and have 94 recorded deaths (internet source) so far- although travel restrictions are still in place. Contrast this - on our arrival back at Heathrow at end of February last year, no social distancing everyone and his brother arriving from all over the world queuing up at passport control, baggage halls, etc. Reaction from UK Government was far too little too late IMO.
